Afternoon Tea is Launched
Something very exciting and delicious is afoot at Beamish Museum, we are starting to serve Afternoon Tea in our bustling Tea Rooms in The Town! It was developed by the lovely Sarah who has been chomping at the bit to get this up and running for a while now, so imagine for a moment the million miles a minute conversations we’ve all been having about it.
We have spent a lot of time deciding what to include in our own Afternoon Tea to make sure our lovely visitors are being given the best possible reflection of the amazing resources we have in the area surrounding our museum, from our brilliant local suppliers to the delicious delicacies you won’t find anywhere else, we really hope you like it as much as us!
Everything in our lovely Afternoon Tea will be handmade here at Beamish, including treats from Herron’s Bakery and our own Tea Rooms, so it is a real reflection of the wonderful resources we have at our fingertips.
Due to all the lovely items on our Afternoon Tea being made fresh daily, it must be booked in advance, so if you have a particular day in mind, book up soon! We are launching Afternoon Tea on Mother’s Day, although appointments for that day are already fully booked. What better way to spoil the most important lady in your life than with a gift voucher for Afternoon Tea at Beamish?
For more information, to make a booking or to buy Afternoon Tea gift vouchers, contact the Group & Venue Sales Team on 0191 370 4026 (Monday to Friday 9am to 4pm). Afternoon Tea will be served daily from 26th March (excluding school holidays and special events).
If all this talk of Afternoon Tea has whet your historical appetite, I will be doing a post in the next few weeks about the history of this delicious delight, so please stay tuned!
